  • In this outdoor activity, your group though has 2 hours to enjoy a unique panorama of one of the worlds best visual examples of a rift valley.

    The three observation platforms offer an expansive 200 kilometer wide view from 450 meters above sea level on Monte Matteo. The view begins at Lake Ypacaraí, continues across many of Paraguay's natural monuments, and terminates at the highest point in Paraguay, Cerro Tres Kandú.

    With our binoculars and telescopes, enjoy close up views of the surrounding geological features and the birds of prey that inhabit the area. Use our digital visitor guides to unify the experience of viewing with the experience of learning. The guides cover topics like the rich history of the valley, how it formed, and why it has such unique visual characteristics.
