    CERRO PORTEÑO

    See the fields of the battle of Paraguarí from the observatory. Learn how a small hill near the city of Paraguarí became the scene of a conflict between the Kingdom of Spain and a former Spanish colony in 1811. What followed marked one of the first battles in the Latin American Independence movement.

    UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD

    From the tower, this tour uses the landscape to explain the earths history and illustrate the perspective of passing time. Guests will view a timeline from the begining of the earth, where we are now, and where it will end.

    THE ATLANTIC FOREST

    The Atlantic Forest is less than 100,000 hectares but extends more than 1,000 kilometers from the Atlantic coast of Brazil through Argentina and Paraguay. It has been 80% deforested. From the tower, we will view the western border of the forest and discuss the impact of human progress on this unique ecosystem.
